Last Thursday, while driving toward Grayland, Washington, I stopped by Bottle Beach State Park. Now that I develop my color work, I need to shoot color film regularly, keeping in mind the age of the developer and how many rolls I have shot. The current batch of the developer is from June 27, and when these images were created, I had only shot 4 rolls of color film. So, I saw an opportunity to shoot another roll (https://stateparks.com/bottle_beach_state_park_in_washington.html).

Redman Slough. A slough is a swamp or shallow lake system, usually a backwater to a larger body of water (https://oceanservice.noaa.gov/facts/slough.html#:~:text=A%20slough%20is%20typically%20used,of%20the%20river%20once%20flowed.).

In a few weeks, Himalayan blackberries will be ready to eat.

I created these images using the Nikon N75 camera, with either the 20mm 1:2.8D or the 35mm 1:2D Lenses. The development time was 3 minutes and 49 seconds at 102 degrees Fahrenheit (39 degree Celsius). I scanned the negatives with the PrimeFilmXEs using VueScan software.
