These images were captured last week on a one-day visit to Yakima, Washington. I shot three rolls of film. I used this roll of Portra 160 to test the longevity of the Cinestill Cs-41 color chemistry that I prepared at the end of July. I am ordering more but will not mix it until I have several rolls ready to be developed. This was the fourth roll I developed in the current batch.

The Yakima Valley is known for its agricultural prowess.
THE YAKIMA VALLEY GROWS…
- 70% of the nation’s apples
- 42 % of the nation’s pears
- 38% of the nation’s concord grapes
- 75% of the nation’s hops (20 % of the world’s supply of hops)
- 50% of Washington State’s mint and spearmint
- 50% of Washington State’s wine grapes. (https://www.visityakima.com/blog/hello-world/)

I used the Nikon N75, with the Nikon 35 1:2 and the 28 1:2.8 D Lenses attached.

On the eastern side of the valley, you will find some winter wheat.

Portra 160 is infinitely more fun to use/look at than 400, love your photos!

Thank you. I do not know much about film stocks. Once shot I usually forget or fail to see anything to remember. That is why I shoot so many different films and do not keep to one. I need patience to keep to one and explore all its advantages or disadvantages. I do not have that patience.
