I had my doubts about Fujifilm 400. It is economical (https://www.glazerscamera.com/collections/color-negative/products/fujifilm-400-color-35mm-x3), but last week, I shot the film on a hike near Shelton and was disappointed.

A few days ago, I loaded the film in the F100, attached the AF-S Nikkor 28mm 1:1.8 G Lens, and went to downtown Olympia to give the film another opportunity to change my mind.

After developing the film, I was surprised. The colors were exactly what I was after. They add so much to each image, making me thankful that color exists.

A young man asked me why I was taking this image. If he was shooting color film, he would not ask.

This hot dog stand has been closed for 4 years. I am still waiting for it to open.

This Pacific Madrone loves the film (https://www.gardenia.net/plant/arbutus-menziesii).

I developed the film in Cs41. The images were scanned with the PrimeFilmXEs, using VueScan software.
