It was an unusual day in Seattle. First, it was sunny. Second, I arrived a day early.

As the conductor scanned my ticket after taking my train seat, he hesitated momentarily. He then looked up at me and said everything was fine.

In the evening, of course, my ticket was scanned again. This time, the conductor told me my ticket was for the next day, the 29th. I checked it, and yes, she was right. I have a round-trip ticket for the next day.

She said everything was okay. I would only need to pay any difference in the fare. She called someone at Amtrak and was told I would need to pay $1.80, an easy fix.

Once I arrived, I took out my Nikon FM3a and loaded it with Portra 800. I had two lenses, the Nikon 50mm 1:1.8E Lens and the Voigtlander 28mm 1:2 Lens.

This was the 9th film I developed with my current batch of C-41 Chemistry from Cinestill. I scanned the negatives with the PrimeFilmXEs, using VueScan software.

Probably passed you in the station! We arrived in Seattle around 6:30 from Portland on the 28th 😁. I was thinking about you yesterday while our train sat just outside Lacy waiting for a bridge inspector after a truck hit a bridge. About an hour and a half wait.

The train can be challenging if you count on the schedule. On my journeys it has been from 10 minutes to 90 minutes late.
