A roll of Kodak Portra 160 has been on my desk for almost a year. I usually keep my film in the refrigerator. I must have taken it out for shooting purposes and never used it.

The release of a new film, Phoenix 200, pushed me to shoot the roll. I ordered a few rolls and wanted a direct, immediate comparison of the two films.

The films have similar shooting speeds, and with our dark days in the Northwest, similar challenges with stopped-down apertures.

The film was shot with the Nikon F100. I used the 28 1.8 and 50 1.8 G Lenses.

This was the 41st roll of color film I have developed. I scanned the film with the PrimeFilmXEs, with VueScan software.

It is now time to shoot a roll of Phoenix 200.
