I bought 4 rolls of HARMAN Phoenix 200 Color Film (https://www.harmanphoto.co.uk/phoenix) when it was released on the first of this month.

I wanted to see how the film would react to rural and urban environments in the Pacific Northwest.

After developing the film in Cinestill’s Cs41 Developer, I saw that the negatives were purple. This contrasts with most color films like Kodak Portra 160, which have an orange tint.

I created these images with the Nikon F100 with 3 lenses. The Voigtlander 90mm F3.5, along with the Nikon 28mm and 50mm 1.8G Lenses.

The film does not have much dynamic range. The image below was the only image I could get of the sky not to blow out when metering for the forest area.

I used the PrimeFilmXEs to scan the negatives. As I become better acclimated to the film, I will learn the best scanner settings. VueScan was the software I used with the scanner.
