When I was about 13, I had a paper route. On Sundays, my father would help me because the paper was too large to be delivered on a bike. It was not a typical subscription model. I would deliver to most of the homes, and toward the end of the month, I would knock on their doors to collect a voluntary offering for the service. I could keep all the money I collected. The job lasted about 2 years. I did not get rich.

Those two years, from 1963 to 1964, are the only times I remember having a bike. I did not ever have a bike again until 2002 when I moved into the Seattle area. Now I ride every week, which is the exercise I enjoy most.

These images were captured during a ride on November 21. It was late in the afternoon and cloudy, which necessitated pushing the HP5+ two stops and developing it in Diafine.

I used the Nikon N8008s with the attached Voigtlander Ultron 40mm 1:2 Lens.
