I awoke early this morning to visit Kaiser Woods. Yesterday, as I checked my cameras, I realized I had a Lomography 400 Color Negative Film roll loaded in the Pentax 645 camera. I think it had been in the camera for about a month. Today was the only day it would not rain this week, so I saw it as an excellent opportunity to shoot it while we had some sun.

Even with limited sun, I needed to use the apertures of F2.8 and F4 to achieve enough shutter speed.

Lomography 400 provides a beautiful, natural color palette that works well with the Pacific Northwest.

The film was developed in Cinestill’s Cs41 chemistry. The negatives were scanned with the Epson V850, using VueScan software.

The light was great for you judging by these results. It must be so satisfying when the whole scenario holistically works. And the 645 is a must be capturing lovely detail. It got me thinking of natural Worldwide light. Where there are places out there with light that is near perfection for photography. On a near regular basis. You, as an avid studier in this medium of photography, are probably aware. On Flickr, Iceland was regularly mentioned by photographers. Lovely work as usual Steven.
