This was the fourth roll of Phoenix 200 I have shot. I shot these images with my Nikon F100, with either the 50mm 1.8G and the 28mm 1.8G Lenses.

It was a cool, wet day. While the film calls itself a 200-speed film, I shot it at 125.

Spring is approaching.

There is very little sky in these images. With this film, it is difficult to accommodate the bright sky and the dark forest areas in one image.

I developed the film in Cinestill’s Cs41 Developer and scanned the images with the PrimeFilmXEs using Vuescan software.

In the photos with shallow depth of field and blurred out backgrounds you can really get a sense of how reminiscent the grain structure of this film is to film stocks from the ’70s. The second to last photo does an especially nice job showing this. I like it.
