Ponderosa Pine (Pinus ponderosa) https://www.oregonencyclopedia.org/articles/ponderosa_pine/

These images were captured with the Nikon F100. I shot the roll to create images that would give me a general overview of the Great Basin. I developed the roll of 400TX with HC-110(B) @20C. I used development times from 4 to 5 minutes in the past, but I decided to try a 6-minute development time this time.

Western Juniper (Juniperus occidentalis) https://landscapeplants.oregonstate.edu/plants/juniperus-occidentalis

Russian Thistle (Salsola kali) We all know these plants by their common name, Tumbleweeds. https://www.pnwflowers.com/flower/salsola-kali

Bunchgrasses – chiefly intravaginal branching: perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne), orchardgrass (Dactylis glomerata), and little bluestem (Schizachyrium scoparium). https://forages.oregonstate.edu/regrowth/how-does-grass-grow/grass-types/bunch-and-sod-forming-grasses

I scanned the negatives with the PrimeFilmXE scanner using VueScan software.
