I recently purchased the Voigtlander 58mm 1.4 Lens. I want to narrow the lenses I use with film in street photography. I already own the Voigtlander 28mm 2.8 Lens. The two lenses should cover most situations. Yesterday was the first time I shot with the lens. I went out a half hour after sunrise in downtown Olympia with a roll of HP5+, and later in the day, I shot a roll of Kodak 400 at Harbor Days (https://www.harbordays.com/).

This is ZiZi. I was introduced to her by her owner, a homeless woman. Zizi is an emotional support animal. I sat down on the grass next to ZiZi and was impressed with how tame she was.

I used the lens in different scenarios to get a feel for the focus ring and the 58mm field of view. Later in the day, I would capture images of moving objects, people.

I used the Nikon EM to shoot these images. I developed the film in HC-110(B) @20C for 5 minutes. I scanned the negatives with the PrimeFilmXE scanner and VueScan.
