This afternoon, I developed a roll of Acros II that I had left over from the Oregon trip earlier in September. I rarely shoot the film, so I was curious to see how it would develop using HC-110.

While reaching for the HC-110 bottle, I noticed a small bottle of R09 Spezial Black and White Film Developer. On the side, it had a list of films it could develop, including Neopan Acros.

I decided to give it a try and was satisfied with the results.

I developed the film for 4 minutes @20C, using the recommended ratio of 1+15. I agitated for the first minute and then 5 seconds for each additional minute.

I scanned the negatives with the PrimeFilmXE using VueScan.

These look fantastic! A winning combo of film and developer.

The developer brought out all the tones the film has.
