Ilford recently released a new black-and-white film, Kentmere Pan 200, available in 35mm and 120 formats (https://www.ilfordphoto.com/amfile/file/download/file/1966/product/2198/).

The film cost about $8.00, which is close to the cost of the 100 and 400 versions (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1887914-REG/kentmere_6015055_400_black_and_white.html).

These images were shot with the Nikon FM2, with either 40mm Voigtlander Ultron F2 or the Nikon Series E 100mm F/2.8 Lens.

I did not have a recommended developer available. Ilford has a developer close to HC-110, which I use, Ilfotec HC. The recommended time with that developer was 6 minutes using a 1:31 dilution. That is the time I used, agitating for 10 seconds every minute.

You will find many favorable reviews of this film. Perhaps because of the developer, I found the negatives lacking contrast with lots of grain. I enjoyed the 100 and 400 versions of the film more than the 200 version.

I also have a 120 version of the film that I plan to shoot in the coming week.
