It is Monday morning, November 3. The forecast is for rain. (https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/c17614a42ee38e88eea90c84cd9c221ef368baababa02c494b5cf903fe3dd966). When I moved from Los Angeles 23 years ago, a period of adjustment to the weather began.
That period of adjustment only took 9 years. Now I treat a rainy day as I would a sunny day.
As do most people who live here.
