We have had lots of rain this month. On Saturday, the Sun decided to make an entrance, creating a beautiful, warm, and clear day.

Seattle was full of tourists and Christmas shoppers. I wanted to capture them in color. On Friday, I realized I did not have any color film except a roll of Kodacolor 200, a relatively slow film.

So I ordered some fast-color film from Glazers and loaded the Kodacolor 200 into my FM3a. The lens I used was the Nikon Series E 50mm F1.8.

I shot these images at an aperture between F2.8 and F4, creating a lack of depth of field.

The young man in purple was just soaking in the sun. This is what we do when the sun appears.

I used Cinestill’s C-41 Kit to develop the film. I scanned the negatives with the PrimeFilmXEs using VueScan.
