I wanted to accomplish two things with these images. I have now run nine rolls of film through Cinestill’s Monobath developer, Df96. The developer has three options for use: constant agitation, intermittent agitation, and minimal agitation. On this roll of film, I used the constant agitation option. This option requires less time.

I also wanted to check out a recent lens I acquired when I bought a used camera recently, a Nikon Series E 50mm F1.8. It was different from the version I already have.

My original lens and the newer version.

The older lens and the most recent acquisition. Here is a comparison of the two lenses (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJ8YJ5vwzhI).

I shot the film at it’s native sensitivity of 400 EI with the Nikon FM3a. The weather accounts for the shallow depth of field.

I am going to keep the lens.
