The lens was the Nikkor-S Auto 1.4 50mm Lens. It will probably always stay on the camera. It is a great looking combination that people note on the street. When someone is paying attention and sees that I have taken their picture they look down at the camera and most of the time they end up smiling, knowing they have been captured on a camera that for most of them was made before they were born. The lens started appearing in 1962. I paid $133.00 dollars for it. It was in excellent condition. It seemed a bit harder to focus than my other 50mm lenses but when I looked at the images I found the focus was fine. My first roll with the lens was on Ilford’s HP5 Plus. I developed the film in HC-110(1:31) for 5 minutes 15 seconds @20C.
