Since 1828 the lumber industry has been active in the Washington State area. It would be nice if there were more areas of old growth forest, but we are a species (including me) that wants a comfortable, civilized life. That lifestyle requires lots of resources. The image was shot on the Pentax 645N with Kodak Portra 160.
