I did not know what an estuary is. So when I walked by a building with a sign that said Puget Sound Estuarium I was curious. When I entered I was introduced to a unique world of life that thrives on areas where salt and fresh water meet. I had my F100 with the Nikon 50mm 1.8G Lens attached. It was not well lit so I loaded the camera with Ilford Delta 3200 film which I subsequently developed in D-76(1:1) for 10 minutes, 30 seconds, @20C. The various aquariums, hands-on exhibits, library, and small theater provided the means where you came to know the importance estuaries play in our lives and how unique an ecosystem it is. With the Puget Sound and all the streams and rivers that flow into it, you understand all the life in these estuaries are your close neighbors. Neighbors that depend on you for protection of their sensitive habitat.
