Encouraging young people to get out and walk, ride a bike, and take a bus is what Intercity Transit is promoting with the program Walk n Roll. Last Thursday Walk n Roll had an Open House at their new facility across the street from the main Transit Center in downtown Olympia. One of the features of the program is the ability of middle school students to earn a refurbished bike.
Walk n Roll gets their bikes from donations…
The bike is then rebuilt, fixing any problems and making sure it is safe to ride. All the work is done by volunteers.
Now you have lots of bikes ready to give to students who participate in the program by taking classes designed to teach bicycle maintenance and safe-riding skills.

I used the Nikon FM2, with the Voigtlander 40 1:2 lens attached and loaded with Kodak T-Max P3200 film. I developed the film in HC-110(1:31) for 10 minutes, 30 seconds, @20C.
Perfect timing in the first shot. Lovely grain, by the way.
