On my last day at the park I loaded Ilford Pan F Plus 50 into my Nikon FM2 camera. I chose to use the 28mm Voigtlander 2.8 and the Nikkor 50mm F2 lenses. It was a cool morning with light showers. I used a tripod and looked up the reciprocity failure compensation for the film to get the proper exposure. The Factor for Pan F Plus is 1.33. If you have an exposure that requires 2 or more seconds you enter the time on your scientific calculator then press the xy key then enter 1.33, press equal and you get your proper exposure. (https://www.ilfordphoto.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Reciprocity-Failure-Compensation.pdf) I am not one who understands math very well but I can follow directions. I developed the film in HC-110(B) for 4 minutes, @20C.

They’re all great, but I like #5 the best. I enjoy the feeling of open space, with the mountains beckoning in the distance.

With all the rain there is little open space in the forests here. The rivers offer the best chance of it.

Thank you. I used a gray card and spot meter to get a general idea of the light I had and it worked okay. The film is great to work with and scan.

If there is such a thing as “exhibition quality”, these have it.
