From the Mojave Desert Preserve, I went to Las Vegas. One of my grandsons was playing in a baseball tournament in the city so I had an opportunity to see 2 of my grandchildren and one of my sons and his wife. They had come from Los Angeles. It would all be outdoors. I was there for 4 days and the only time I was with my family was at the baseball diamond or walking the strip itself. We did have lunch one time together but that was by the pool. These images were created within a mile of the strip with my Nikon FM3a. I developed the film in HC-110(1:47) for 6 minutes, 30 seconds, @20C.

You nicely show the bleakness of “off-Strip” Las Vegas (TriX – what a great film for this)…..I find “the Strip” perhaps more bleak but in a completely different way. Red Rock Canyon on the other hand….!

I have been shooting with the Voigtlander 28mm 1:2 lens more often lately. I bought it a couple of years ago. I also have the Nikon 28mm 1:2D lens but I think the Voigtlander is a better lens.
