This is the second of a series of posts on the City of Olympia. I am doing them by streets and today I am showing you Capitol Way N. The downtown is a community of small businesses that can take care of almost the needs of anyone. This last year has been a rough one on the businesses but most are showing resilience. The Farmers Market has reopened and is open Saturdays through March. Coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, bakeries, banks, and other essential businesses line the street. There is even a Pinball Museum where you can make reservations to play. (https://www.olympiapinballmuseum.com/)

These images were created with the Nikon FM3a, with the Voigtlander 28mm Lens attached. I developed the film in HC-110(B) for 5 minutes, 30 seconds, at 20C.
These set of photographs tell a different story than your opening words… They remind me of another set I also liked very much (https://philkneen.wordpress.com/2020/04/25/the-new-normal/).

Phil Kneen is very good and his work has much more consistency than mine. He does very well at storytelling.
