Segment #2: 88th Ave SW>110th Ave SW 2.8 miles

At the start of the walk, farmland existed on both sides of the trail. I next came upon a trailer camp behind a unique wall. A man came out to talk to me to see what I was doing. He told me a woman walks the area daily but no one else. He also noted that there is a bear with two cubs in the area and to be careful.

There are a few abandoned buildings along the route. Then I came upon a homestead in the process of renovation.

After a beautiful tunnel of vegetation, you come upon a wetland.

I’ve completed another segment. I think there are seven more miles of this abandoned rail line. I might do it in one walk.
