Every Fall, I leave and go south. I will be driving through Eastern Oregon, Western Nevada, and eventually to Southern California. I will visit the Mojave and Colorado Deserts.

The departure is this Thursday. I will be driving the 1999 Suburban; the vehicle has been out of the shop for a month.

I will be doing some photography. I have brought some books along so I can set up a chair and read in the quiet spaces of the Mojave. I do not know if I will post yet, and I have the Nikon Df along, so it is possible.

I will also be visiting my family in Los Angeles. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley, and most of my family live there.

The trip will last from three to six weeks. I have a list of projects and hope I can accomplish a small part of them.

The Nikon N75 shot these images with the 50mm 1.8G lens attached. The film was Fomapan 400 shot at box speed and developed in HC-110(B) for 6 minutes, agitating 5 seconds every 30 seconds. Location: Black Hills are of Olympia, Washington.

Best wishes for a satisfying trip.
Do you take equipment to develop film, is is this a “digital trip?”
