These images are from the Colorado Desert of California. The Colorado Desert is a subsection of the Sonoran Desert. It includes any section of the Sonoran Desert west of the Colorado Desert. (https://mojavedesert.net/plants/vegetation/03.html)

The area receives about 3 inches of rain a year. When rain does fall, plants such as the Ocotillo leaf out, and in a few weeks, bright red blooms will display (https://www.desertmuseum.org/kids/oz/long-fact-sheets/Ocotillo.php)

Agriculture is important to the economy of the region. The region’s proximity to the Colorado River allows water-intensive field crops such as Cotton to be grown. (https://agcom.imperialcounty.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/2019-Crop-Report.pdf) I used the Nikon N90s, with the Micro-Nikkor-P Auto 1:3.5 55 Lens, to create these images. The film was developed in HC-110(B) for 9 minutes, @20C.
