Typically, Seattle is dry and sunny from July through September. From October through June, there is a good chance of rain. This October has been cloudy with many showers, but it was bright and sunny on Thursday, October 5th, with lots of contrast.

I would like to be able to create images that tell a story, but either because of a lack of opportunity or just my predisposition toward portraits, I have very few.

The images were captured using the Nikon FM3a, with either the Nikon Series E 50mm 1:1.8 or the Voigtlander Color-Skopar 28mm 1:2.8 Lens attached. I developed the film in Cinestill’s Cs-41 Chemistry and scanned the negatives with the PrimeFilmXEs, using VueScan software.

Within your photographs there are stories. Anyone looking at an image here and having imagination to see blossom that imagery from the base you create. Placement of objects in juxtaposition or at odds, human deliberations, a moment in time snapshot of humans in odd or everyday normality situations, etc. can all let imagination and self storytelling spiral. Thank you for the technical photographic developing procedure side too.
