It was Tuesday, March 17, another typical day in Seattle. The temperature was in the upper 60s. I took the train from Olympia and arrived in town at 10:30 A.M. I was returning at 2 P.M. I had a little over three hours to create some images.

I brought the Nikon Df and the Nikon FM3a, a roll of Kodak Portra 400 and Ferrania P33. These images were shot during the lunch hour.

I had lunch at Nordstrom’s. A small Latte and a Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

A 50mm lens was my favorite in the past, but I am starting to appreciate what a 28mm lens can do on the street. You become acquainted with your subjects.

Nice work. I need to try the Amtrak for a one-day round trip instead of battling the I-5 battlefield. And it is nice to see another Nikon Df user. My blogging friend, Jim Grey, uses one.

The 28mm lens in my Pentax lens collection never got used after first trial. I realise with your explanation here, that I used it wrongly. Great 3 hours of work here Steven. And time for a snack too. Cheers and all the best.
