Datsun 1300 (Built around 1970).

Last week, I walked around downtown Olympia and the neighborhood east of it. The abundant late afternoon sunshine let me shoot the film at the box speed of 400. I had no plan of what to shoot. If something caught my interest, I captured it.

Political Discontent.

This was a Dancing Goats Coffee location. The company was acquired by another company, which closed this store on January 1st.

Bus Bench.

The Nikomat EL, with the Nikkor-S Auto 1:1.4 50mm lens attached, was the camera I used to create these images. I developed the film in XTOL, using the 1/1 ratio for 9 minutes. I agitated the film every 30 seconds. I scanned the negatives with the PrimeFilmXEs using VueScan.

  1. Liking your titles to each image. And your random approach has brought some fine captures too. That coffee shop window looks emotionally forlorn somehow due to the Christmas vibe being left in situ. Cheers for these Steven.
