I have been riding bikes for only about 23 years. Before that, I lived in Los Angeles, and I never attempted to navigate the busy streets of that city. Drivers there do not give you room, and most streets allow parallel parking, which can become dangerous for someone riding a bike.

My current bike is the Surly Long Haul Trucker, a steel touring bike. I bought it around 2010. These bikes will last a lifetime.

I always try to bring a camera along. On this day, I brought the Nikon Z5 with the 7Artisans 50mm M mount lens attached. One advantage of a mirrorless camera is that you can mount various camera mounts on it using an adapter. I used the lens when I had a couple of Voigtlander Rangefinder Cameras.
