In the next few weeks, I will develop any black-and-white film I shoot in Rodinal, which was patented in 1891 (https://unblinkingeye.com/Articles/Rodinal/rodinal.html).

It rained for most of last Saturday. Later in the afternoon, after the rain stopped, I walked through Kaiser Woods with my Nikon FM3a. I brought the Nikkor 50mm 1:1.2 and the Nikkor 28mm 1:2.8 D Lenses.

The film used was JCH Streetpan 400, which is no longer available. I have three rolls left.

With a 1:25 dilution, I developed the film in Rodinal for 10 minutes and 30 seconds @ 20 °C. I agitated the film for the first 10 seconds of each minute.

so sad if JCH 400 is gone, it’s one of my favorites. I may still have a roll, I’ll have to check!

I haven’t fully unpacked my box of cameras and film since we moved last Fall. Now would be a good time to see what I kept 🤔
