We drove from Susanville, California, to Fallon, Nevada, today. While passing through Reno, we stopped at Action Camera (https://www.actioncamera.com). I was able to pick up some film that will work better in bright conditions.

The area around Fallon gets only about 5 inches (127mm) of rain a year. https://wrcc.dri.edu/cgi-bin/cliMAIN.pl?nvfall

Around any type of water source, you will find Fremont Cottonwoods (Populus fremontii).

Dead Sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata) around the barbed wire fence. Sagebrush is the Nevada State Flower.

Tomorrow we travel to the very remote areas of the state. Most of the area will be around Bureau of Land Management Land, so camping should not be a problem. These images were created with the Nikon Z5, using the Nikkor Z 28 mm f/2.8 and the Nikkor Z 50mm f/1.4 lenses.
Going into land areas ideal for capturing amazing images. It looks like you are enjoying this adventure. All the best Steven.
