I came home from California on Tuesday. I only shot four rolls of film and some digital from my Nikon Z5. The weather in Los Angeles was perfect during my stay. Our hotel in Calabasas was next to a high-end shopping area, including stores for Cartier and Rolex. All the restaurants had outside dining. I left the city in 2002 and moved to Seattle. I miss the city, but could never live there again. On my return home, I came across an area I would consider moving to. More on that later.

These images were created with the Nikon FM3a, with the Nikkor 50mm 1:1.2 lens attached.

When I left for California, the trees in Olympia were just starting to show themselves. Every tree is on full display with a full canopy of leaves now.

and the flowers also….

One of my grandaughters is graduating from College next year. None of my sons finished school so this will be a special occasion.

I developed the film in HC-110(B) for 4 minutes at 20 °C. I scanned the negatives with the PrimeFilmXEs using VueScan.
