A couple of days ago, I posted a feature about this truck show using Portra 160 VC (https://stevenlawrencepictures.com/2026/08/17/portra-160-vc-c10-truck-show-olympia-august-15/) I also shot a roll of Ektapan 400.

There was enough light without pushing the film, but I pushed it one stop anyway to see how the developer, the Monobath Df96, handled it. I also increased the agitation, which was a mistake. The 6-minute developing time requires very little agitation, and I am learning that to be true.

I shot these images with the Nikon F100, with the Nikkor 50mm 1:1.2 Lens attached. I scanned the negatives with the Epson V850.

What is wrong with agitation please ? The images are looking great!!

I had issues with scanning the negatives in VueScan with the PrimeFilmXEs. The Epson scanner and software did a better job. I think we are both right, the images were not as bad as I thought and it was partly a software issue.

Glad that you are also happy with these. Love the contracts and the small details of the old cars.
