California, here I come
Right back where I started from.
The song was written in 1921 for the Broadway Musical Bombo, starring Al Jolson.
I was born in Los Angeles in 1951. I moved to the Seattle area in 2002. I visit about 3 times a year. I have 3 sons and 8 grandchildren living in Los Angeles. Every time I visit I wonder if I will ever return. The city has beautiful beaches, mountains, and exotic deserts nearby. The city also has too many people, horrendous traffic, and wealth disparity. The city has improved its transit, but the statistics show that there are fewer boardings today than there were 30 years ago. Cars are still king. I am not sure there is much quality of life anymore. It might be a great place to visit but not to live.
I used Kodak 400TX with my Nikon FM2 camera. I developed the film using HC-110 (1:31) for 6 minutes at 20C (agitating for 5 seconds every 30 seconds). I used a stop bath for 30 seconds and then fixed the film for 4 minutes with TF-5.
