11520 Ultrafine 400 1600 Planned Parenthood 018-EditOn Wednesday, January 22nd, about 100 demonstrators gathered outside Planned Parenthood in Olympia, Washington. This demonstration was sponsored by a group that was campaigning to get HB 2154 passed during the current session. They were not part of the March for Life rally I covered yesterday. House Bill 2154 would effectively ban any abortion in Washington State, including rape and incest. (https://www.abolishabortionwa.com/#fulltext) I used the Nikon FM2 with the Nikkor 50 1:2 lens attached. The film used was Ultrafine Extreme 400 pushed 2 stops to 1600 and developed in HC-110(1:31) for 9 minutes @20C. I agitated the film for 5 seconds every 30 seconds. I scanned the film with the Epson V850. I also tried the PrimeFilmXE scanner on the 400TX profile and it worked fine. Most of my important prints are done in the darkroom but if I was printing with an inkjet I would use the XE scan. The film costs $3.59 a roll for 36 exposures but is sold out at the moment. A 24 exposure roll is $3.19, with 100 rolls costing $299.00. It also comes in 120. I am not one who can judge whether one film does one thing and another film something else. I do not have a critical eye for that.  I do know the film worked for my purposes.
