It started out as a dark day in Seattle. Only a minor shower occurred. In the afternoon there were periods of intermittent sunshine. I had brought along my Nikon FM2 loaded with Kodak 400TX pushed 2 stops. I had the 40mm Voigtlander lens attached. The Voigtlander lenses are nice but for me, they are a bit difficult to focus quickly. I developed the film in HC-110(1:31) for 6 minutes @20C. I used the PrimeFilmXE to digitize the images.
There is nothing like the look of immediacy that TX400 gives. Of course it is assisted a lot by a great photographer.

I am not sure I like 400TX. As I write this I have already used 2 other films in subsequent shootings. I cannot figure out which film is best for me.

My experience is far more limited. I always thought that the relatively high contrast and grain of TX400 gave the image a sense of immediacy. A sort of journalistic look.
