This concludes our presentation of the Spring Great Basin Trip. We hope everyone enjoyed the images presented. As the presenter, I am glad we are finished. I was becoming a bit tired of the open landscapes of Sagebrush and Bunch Grass. And those fence images… we have seen a fence or two and do not need to see more. I have never seen a fence I liked except the one I put up. I hear rumors that there will be another trip in the Fall. We do not wait in anticipation of the trip. We must find something else to occupy our time.

There has been one benefit from the images. People now can make an informed decision whether or not to live in the area. Anyone who has followed along here knows the Great Basin is the last place one would want to live. There are 3 months of mild weather and 9 months of cold, wind, snow, and rain. Some have not heeded the warnings… and their abandoned homesteads offer stark testimony to the wisdom of what I say.

These images were created with the Nikon N90s. The film was developed in HC-110(B) for 5 minutes, 30 seconds, @20C. I had a difficult time with the development. Perhaps Kentmere 400 needs a different dilution or another developer instead.
