If you want clear skies and mild temperatures, move to Seattle. We have not had rain for the past three weeks.

I miss the rain. I wake up every morning hoping to see at least a cloud. Last evening, we had some clouds move in before sunset, and I, for the moment, had hope for a change. I checked my phone and found they were just a passing illusion.

Even the musicians are affected. How can you perform under such conditions?

I tried to warn this man about the danger of the sun. He just laughed. This is what the sun will do to us. Its warmth seems to caress us with love even as it delivers its dangerous UVB and UVA rays.

At least we can still depend on mothers to protect their young.

I also spoke to this older couple. They knew I was right but were tired of waiting at home for a change. You become stir crazy and, like an insect, run toward the light, even if it means your demise.

This woman would not speak to me. She rudely passed by, and by her posture let it be known that I was not to interfere with her few moments of bliss.

Ice Cream tells the whole story.

I finally gave up. I took off my hat and let the sun bathe me with all its warmth. Why do bad things feel so good? These images were created with the Nikon FM3a. I used the Nikkor 50mm 1:1.2 lens and the Voigtlander Color-Skopar 28mm 1:2.8 lens. I developed the film in HC-110(B) @20 °C for 5 minutes. I scanned the negatives with the PrimeFilmXEs using VueScan.
