These images were created on Wednesday, June 10, in the early evening. Sunset that day was at 9:06 PM.

Plenty of light was available. I had my Nikon F100 loaded with Ektacolor Pro 800 (formerly Portra 800). I used two lenses, the 28mm 1:1.8 and the 50mm 1:1.8 G lenses.

When I shoot color film, I become very aware of how precious color is to our senses. Color isolates each object in a scene as much as the shape.

I developed the film in Cinestill Cs-41 @39 °C. I scanned the negatives with the PrimeFilm XEs using VueScan.
