There is something called the World Cup. It is organized by a group with the initials FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association). Every four years, FIFA organizes a soccer tournament that brings together national teams from around the world to determine a world champion.

This year’s tournament is in North America (Mexico, Canada, and the United States). Seattle is one of the host cities.

The first game in Seattle was played on Friday. It was between the USA and Australia. I couldn’t afford the almost $ 2,000 the tickets were going for, so I opted to hang out with the thousands of fans outside the stadium.

Of course, I brought my Nikon FM3a.

Large screens were installed so we could keep up with the game.

I only used one lens for these shots… the Nikkor 50mm 1:1.2 Lens.

Most of the shots were taken at box speed but there were a few shots where I pushed the film one stop. I developed the film in Cinestill’s Df96 Monobath for 7 minutes at 21 °C. I scanned the images with the PrimeFilmXEs using VueScan.
