Siberian Elm (Ulmus pumila)
On my trip through Eastern Washington, Idaho, and Northern Oregon, I took a day off from traveling and stayed at a hotel in Lewiston for two nights.

Rubber Rabbitbrush (Ericameria nauseosa)
The hotel was new and surrounded by open land being prepared for new construction.

I decided to take advantage of the bright sunshine and took out my Nikon FM3a, loaded with Kodak T-Max 100. I had three lenses with me: the Nikkor 50mm 1:1.2, the Voigtlander 40mm Ultron 1:2, and the Voigtlander Color-Skopar 28mm 1:2.8.

The area included an abandoned Caterpillar Wheel-tractor Scraper.

I developed the film in HC-110(B) for six minutes at 20 °C. I scanned the negatives with the PrimeFilmXE using VueScan.

Underlying Lewiston is the Lewiston Basin Basalt. This roadcut exposes the basalt that underlies the region.
