sometimes i need a walk.

And when I do I go across the street from where I live and hike through Black Lake Meadows. The walk gives me an opportunity to reflect on what I am doing and what I should do with the remaining years I have. I will be 68 soon and find that my ambition level is not what it was in the past. The next 12 months I will primarily spend learning how to print in the darkroom. I have made a few good prints but nothing exceptional. I go back to school in January to complete my darkroom studies. The images here were taken on the walk. They were captured in the evening a little before sundown. I had my Nikon FA loaded with 400TX and shot the film at 200. I developed the film at 400 in Rodinal(1:25) for 7 minutes @20C. I used the Nikon 50mm 1:2 Lens.
