I have been back for a week from my trip. I was able to shoot 5 rolls of film, 2 rolls of 400tx, 2 rolls of lomography 400, and a roll of E100. I travelled through Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and Nevada. My ‘new’ car averaged from 13-14 mpg on the trip. The total mileage for the trip was about 2600 miles.

All the film I shot was on 35mm film. I used the Nikon F4 and Nikon FM3a.

The common denominator in all these areas is Cattle grazing.

I stayed off major highways, which have speed limits of 80 mph (128 kph). I try to keep my speed below 60 mph. I spent one night in a motel, in Delta, Utah. Otherwise, I would find an open area a mile or so from the highway and set up camp.

The car worked fine until the weather became warm. Temperatures rose to 100 degrees fahrenheit (38 degrees celsius) and the air conditioning stopped working. To fix the problem may cost between $1500-$2000.
